Chelsea Pimienta is the Digital Design Director at TIME Magazine. After graduating from Ball State in 2012, she moved to New York City to start working at TIME. She has had the privilege of designing some of TIME's most prominent issues several times such as TIME100 and Person of the Year - including last year's Taylor Swift issue. In 2017 she won a Gold Medal from the Society for News Design for her design of the Person of the Year Issue: The Silence Breakers. Day-to-day Chelsea works closely with the digital and social media teams producing art for
time.com and Instagram as well as designing the bi-monthly magazine. She lives outside of Washington DC with her husband and two year old daughter and loves to craft and listen to Taylor Swift in her spare time.
